This is Brownie! She is a mix girl that has hard a very hard last few years. She lived for about 2 years +/- in the woods in a rural part of Florida along with another dog that was dumped Blackie. They were inseparable. Blackie and Brownie scrounged for food and fought for survival. Maxx & Me was contacted about their story and offered to help. Brownie was pregnant, about ready to give birth and we knew we had to act quickly so she didn’t deliver them in the woods. The person who reported their case said animal control on two prior separate occasions took her two litters of puppies but just left her behind to fend for herself. They never fixed her or helped her. Maxx & Me stepped up, with volunteers she was caught and gave birth to her third litter at the vet’s office just a few days after she was caught. Blackie is still missing and they are working to capture him but he is more scared and won’t easily come to you. He has not been spotted for a few days but we remain hopeful and will need a place for him too. Brownie is about 45 lbs and will need a foster once her puppies are weaned and adopter! Let’s show Brownie girl there is a wonderful life ahead with love, comfort and a safe home!
Brownie’s adoption donation is only $200 which includes spay, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Her three puppies donation are each $250. They will come with their first round of shots, spay/neuter.
