CAMELLIA appears to be a husky mix and is around 6 years old and about 60 pounds. This precious darling lived most of her life in an outdoor kennel which caused her trauma (fear and insecurity) from which she is recovering. CAMELLIA is very loving, but fearful of new people and insecure in busy environments. She has received behavioral training which we would continue with her ADOPTER to help her transition and continue to heal. CAMELLIA is loving, playful and super smart and sensitive. CAMELLIA was one of several other dogs who lived where she did and have found wonderful homes and blossomed into happy, healthy well-behaved family members. We are looking for a committed adopter to help her do the same.
We are looking for someone with a fenced in yard so she can run free of a leash (though leash walks to explore and bond are still recommended) and another dog which she can play with-either as a housemate or as a playmate in another home (not a dog park). CAMELLIA has done fine with cats, but because of her insecurities, we would like to place her in a peaceful home without kids. If you think you may be the special person to show CAMELLIA how wonderful life can be, please complete our online adoption application at www.maxxandme.org<http://www.maxxandme.org> and then call 813-997-5036. I can tell you, the folks that have adopted other dogs from where CAMELLIA came and suffered that trauma have burst through the veneer of their fears to become amazing companions. Please consider giving her this chance.
Camelia’s adoption donation is only $200. She is spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped
