Meet Rudy! He is an older guy, has a frosty face but our vet thinks he is only about 8 years old and 60ish pounds. Rudy is very sweet, can be scared, but has ZERO mean bones in his labby body. Rudy has what the University of FL Small Vet believes may be canine cognitive dysfunction. Rudy will pace at times but has gotten much better on meds and will have accidents (especially in a new environment) but truly once he is adjusted he does much better (no accidents in his boarding villa for 3 weeks which is HUGE)! He needs a loving, patient foster who understand special needs dogs. He does like other dogs as long as they aren’t mean to him as he really can’t seem to defend himself so if there are dogs just happy go lucky dogs in the house are great. He is somewhat of a flight risk as a loud noise or trying to get him in the car or house he can resist and back out of his collar so double leashing or harness and collar for a while but a secured fenced yard is ideal!

If you are his person and willing to offer a place for Rudy to land, have patience for accidents that will get better and want a sweet boy that just has been through so much please let us know ASAP!
We will consider even forever fosters as well for this boy.
Rudy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption donation is only $150!
