Meet Brandy! She is one of the five husky mixes we saved from a life chained outside without shelter, no reprieve from the elements, and seemingly zero human interaction prior to being rescued. She is 40ish pounds and about 6 years old. Brandy has healed nicely from her former trauma in her foster home and is ready for her forever home! She’s timid and unsure around men (having been severely neglected by one her entire life) so a home with either all females or a very patient man willing to love her through her fears is best. She has fallen head over heels for the teenage daughter in her foster home and follows her everywhere. She loves walks and time in the yard. Brandy is an on-going project dog. She still needs to gain confidence, perfect her manners, and learn the ropes of a healthy home and normal life. We would like to move Brandy into forever home to continue to work with her through the difficulties and let her bond hard and trust fully the family meant to love her the rest of her days.
