Dolly & Buddy BONDED PAIR

Dolly & Buddy BONDED PAIR

Meet Buddy & Dolly!
Buddy is an 84 pound, 5 year old black lab and Dolly is a over weight, 38 pound, thirteen year old Aussie. SHE ALSO HAPPENS TO BE A TRI-POD. It is so bad for their joints for 3 legged dogs to be overweight!!
What we know about Buddy & Dolly is this: They’ve not been cared for. Dolly was last seen at the vet 12 years ago when she lost her limb. TWELVE YEARS of no vetting for a special needs dog.
She was stiff and having difficulty walking. We started her on Dasoquin chews, Adequin injections, and brought her UTD on vaccines. HOW ANYONE LETS A DOG WITH THREE LEGS GET FAT AND DOESN’T HAVE HER ON BASIC JOINT SUPPORT IS TRULY MIND BOGGLING.
Buddy was last seen 5 years ago. He has significant periodontal disease and we have scheduled a dental to address that. The vet suggests cutting way down on his food to help Buddy lose the weight. There’s always a question of an underlying condition with thyroid but he’s thinking this was caused by sheer neglect/lack of care since Buddy isn’t old.
BUT, they have a bright future for whatever time they may get to enjoy it together. They’re low key (hello, they’re very fat!), they’re sweet, and they’re on the hunt for a wonderful forever home together!
These two deserve a happily ever after. They should know what it feels like to be cared for, provided for, loved.
Do you need walking buddies to help you lose your added quarantine weight? Buddy & Dolly could be your personal trainers. They are spayed/neutered up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Adoption donation is $300 for the pair.
