Zyan

Zyan

Meet Zyan!  He is about 1.5 years old and 117 pounds. Our Giant 💕love💕bug💕 Cane Corso Zyan is still battling for his health and happiness. Brought to PCAS several months ago, as an owner requested euthanasia because they chose not to give him the medical attention he desperately needed, Zyan was a BIG BOY with BIG BILLS and we stepped in to help him. Since then, he has seen multiple specialists who all agreed surgery wasn’t the path to take. They also agreed Zyan could live a long, happy life if given the continued care he needed. So instead of surgery, Zyan has been undergoing treadmill hydrotherapy 3 times a week and physical therapy in addition to that. All of this is in an effort to help his stability, improve his mobilization, and avoid total hip replacement on this very young dog. There is no guarantee this won’t be the only option in the future… but the 8-12 weeks of combination therapy is his best shot at a quality of life he deserves. This is a significant undertaking of both FUND$ and TIME and we are beyond grateful to his foster family for committing to Zyan’s medical rehabilitation so completely (driving him to and from appts, helping him at home, etc). yan is also on the hunt for his forever home and can be moved there if there is an angel on earth looking to take on our big boy.

Z He is wonderful with his young foster kids but Leary of new children. He LOVES toys and squeakers and tug o’war and prancing around the house playing with them all by himself. His bark is imposing and intimidating but it belies the giant goofball he really is. He LIVES to snuggle and is loving all the books he’s reading and screen time he’s getting with his foster kids when they settle in the evenings. He’s potty trained and well-mannered. He doesn’t counter surf, is non destructive, wants a yard to enjoy and a family of his own to continue to grow with and learn from. He’s being fostered as an only and is fine with that but was also in senior play groups when he was in boarding and did great with other dogs. Is yours the family to bring Zyan across the finish line of his journey? He deserves a champion and he’s ready to have that now.

Zyan is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Adoption donation is $250.
