Meet Savannah! Turned in to animal control when her owner could no longer care for her, this utterly lovely darling spent her life as an “outdoor” dog for 12 long years. It breaks our hearts when we think of all that she missed…But resiliency is a quality of many dogs, and she seems to bear little grudge. Although shy at first, SAVANNAH is ready to live life to the fullest—she adores playing with other dogs, taking adventure-seeking walks, engaging with a doting human, and eating healthy scrumptious meals…She deserves each and every one, and we want her to have them all (please note, a doggy playmate is a requirement since this makes her very, very happy)…(p.s. SAVANNAH and RACHEL, a black lab are best friends, so if you might be interested in adopting two precious darlings, please see RACHEL’s profile, as well!)

SAVANNAH banana appears to be a collie mix. She’s medium sized at about 37 pounds. She has soft, beautiful apricot-colored fur except for a few spots, where life outside got the best of it…SAVANNAH is good and kind to all animals. She wishes to play mostly and also enjoys relaxing in the comfort of a soft spot in a sunny room. She’s house-trained, non-destructive, and not a barker. Despite she is a “senior,” we see all puppy heart and soul…If you have a soft spot for this darling and would like to show her how well a life can be lived, please submit an application at: www.maxxandme.org.

SAVANNAH is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption donation is $200.

If you would like to meet her (or any of our dogs), please fill out an adoption application on www.maxxandme.org
