Foster Home Application

Thank you for applying for our Volunteer Foster Home Program. We strive to make the fostering experience fun and fulfilling for each foster home and place the right dog in the right home. Many of our dogs are rescued as strays from local shelters so we cannot guarantee temperament, potty training, and behavior in most situations. Fosters should always go slow with new dogs and introduce new people and activities slowly while monitoring dog for signs of fear or stress. We are available to help and answer questions to make this a successful experience for all. Fostering saves lives and we cannot continue rescuing animals without foster homes!! A volunteer will contact you within a few days of submitting foster application. Thank you in advance!

I certify that the above information is true and understand that false information may result in nullifying my approval. Also, if an omission or untruth is discovered after approval, I understand that Maxx & Me Pet Rescue reserves the right to reclaim the animal. I give Maxx & Me Pet Rescue permission to fully investigate the information provided as well as contact veterinarians, landlords, etc. I give permission for my veterinarian to release any information asked by a representative from Maxx & Me Pet Rescue. If the application passes this review, I agree to a home visit on a mutually agreed date and time by a Maxx & Me Pet Rescue volunteer before a decision is made. Fostering is understood to be temporary until an adopter is approved. If foster decides they want to pursue the adoption process, foster will be required to complete an adoption application and be approved through Maxx & Me Pet Rescue and pay the adoption fee. Maxx & Me retains all rights to the dog under foster care and has the sole authority to approve the best home for the animal in the event an adopter is found that may or may not be the foster.
